Reaction score 1 hey guys after reading these boards for a while it seems that the most and maybe only recommended product to bathe cats with is dawn dish washing soap. You can use soapnuts which have antibacterial properties and are harmless. I would not recommend bathing a cat often and even if you do need to bathe your cat stay away from soaps and shampoos.
